The first Darkhorse calves hit the ground this spring of 2020, and Manager, Jacob Bathke, is extremely excited about what he has seen. Power, stoutness, width and shape; they are proving to be some of the most performance driven calves in our calf crop.

His dam, Rebella 225-120, is a source for some of the power and looks this cat has. She is sired by past National Champion bull and maternal leader, Mulberry 26P, and is out of Rebella 120-502, the Hobo 79E sired maternal sister to Grand Canyon and Major League that raised the LCB Hoss herdsire at Pieper’s as well. At 18 years of age, Rebella was finally retired as one of our Difference Maker donor cows.”
